This new development in Dromdarrig, Mungret is envisioned as an aesthetically pleasing and highly efficient residential scheme, delivering much-needed, high-quality housing to benefit the wider community. The transformation of this greenfield site is intended to enhance the local environment while providing a purposeful and well-integrated addition to the area. The orientation of the units has been strategically designed to maximise natural light throughout the day, while their arrangement around communal open spaces fosters a sense of connection and community. The architectural treatment incorporates a balanced palette of off-white render, brick, slate, and modest glazing to create a clean, cohesive, and contemporary appearance.
I was directly involved in the preparation of the planning drawings, architectural renders, and design booklets that supported the development proposal. These materials were instrumental in communicating the vision, quality, and design intent of the project. Through this work, I contributed to shaping a well-connected and carefully considered living environment that responds to current market needs, offering well-built, affordable homes and family-friendly spaces designed to serve the future residents of Mungret village.
